Trips

Benson County Transportation considers your medical appointment to be a priority. We will do a trip with only one rider if it's for a medical appointment. Please be considerate of our costs; we will allow two (2) hours of shopping before or after your appointment. If it's on a non-scheduled day or destination; there will be NO SHOPPING.

We will consider your request for a non-scheduled day / destination / beyond operating hours / for a medical appointment, on a first come first served basis, and if we are able to accommodate that request. Please work with us on getting a day scheduled that we can accommodate.

Statement of Non-Discrimination

Benson County Transportation will consider every request for reasonable modification from individuals with disabilities. Language assistance for persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) is available free of charge. Service Animals 

Benson County Transportation Welcomes your Service Animal on our vehicles. We just ask they remain under your control.

A Few Basic Rules:

Have exact fare upon boarding. Have your money, ticket or check ready before boarding. If you don't have the fare, you don't ride. Fares are to be given to your driver. Driver carries no change.

Passengers please turn your cell phone ringer off. Use headphones or earphones to listen to your devices.

We reserve the right to deny transportation for no shows, non-sufficient funds, non-payment, failure to provide accurate information, failure to cancel.

If you desire walking assistance / wheelchair assistance to vehicle, request at time of reservation.

All passengers are required to wear seat belts. And we adhere to ND's seat belt law regarding those 18 and under. Parent provides and secures car seat or booster and secures child. We will not be responsible for incorrectly secured seats or child.

No smoking on or within 25 feet of vehicle. This includes E cigarettes.

No food or drink. Exception is closed bottle of plain water, or a Doctor's note explaining a medical condition.

Law prohibits firearms, knives, and any other weapons on the vehicle. No flammable or explosive fluids or containers allowed.

All passengers using a mobility device must allow driver to secure the device to the best of his/her abilities. At drivers discretion we will not accept those devices too large to be safely accomodated

Oxygen tanks must be secured by driver.

Only Service Animals are allowed and must remain under owner's control

For the consideration of other passengers: limit shopping bags to that which fits in your seating area. Do not block walkways. Driver is not required to assist with packages. We are not responsible for lost or broken items.
